In Islam, there are no taboo subjects. The Quran and the prophetic tradition have touched on all aspects of the life of believers and the Muslim community. Now there is no doubt that the intimate life of the couple constitutes an important part of the journey of believers who, at some point in their life, decide to unite by the bonds of marriage. It is therefore not surprising that Koranic verses and prophetic hadiths evoke sexual relations to give rules, proprieties, limits. In other words, a true Islamic ethics of sexuality.
