The theme of this book is righteousness. On righteousness depend happiness here and in the hereafter, the success of the servant and the validity of all his affairs.
He who is of good advice for himself and covets happiness must therefore pay particular attention to righteousness, both at the level of knowledge and practice, and stick to it until death.
